Guiding this cross-disciplined group of talented engineers is a great privilege and a valuable learning experience for me. The choice of Kenya was based on the enticement of challenging Swedish companies, organizations and students to recognize the country’s potential as a future driving force in East Africa. The project will not only enable us to explore and endorse the emerging market of Kenya, but also to encounter its charming people and culture.
From my point of view East Africa and especially Kenya is one of the world’s most interesting markets and FocusOn will present its potential to the KTH-community. For me personally FocusOn is a great challenge in many different ways that helps me develop.
This international project really gives me a chance for personal development. It is an interesting challange that will give me valuable experiences that I can bring with me through my career. I am excited about this as a whole and I am really looking forward to visit Kenya and to be able to take part of a different culture and working environment.
I have an international background which is why I have always been interested in international business. Africa is the upcoming continent with huge potentials. I am very excited to be a part of its development and bring my contribution. Through FocusOn Kenya I would also like to gain some valuable teamwork and project-work skills and meet some great people on the way.
Two of my main interests are to travel and explore different countries. I feel like FocusOn Kenya will give me a great opportunity to explore the local culture of a country ready to take the step into the industrialized world.
I want to understand the East African market better and Kenya is the perfect place to start. I really look forward to getting a deeper understanding of how international and Swedish companies influence the future of Kenya. The focus-on group is a well working group and it will be exciting to see the end result we will deliver!
Kenya is a market with great growth potential and therefore I am eager to investigate this interesting country within the project of FocusOn Kenya. I hope to gain valuable experience and knowledge in international entrepreneurship and meet a lot of interesting people along the way.
Since I have an interest in international strategic issues I am eager to learn more about international and local companies operating in Kenya and to develop an understanding of the factors that have had an impact on the business climate in Kenya. I am also looking forward to get to know the future partners of FocusOn Kenya.
During FocusOn Kenya I’m looking forward to learn as much as possible about Kenya and how they are planning to approach the future as an upcoming business hub in East Africa. I’m also looking forward to have a lot of fun and gain experience by working in an international project.
I thoroughly enjoy helping and I would really like to help the people of Kenya by bringing great companies there. To spread the word of a rising African market and in the process get connections to interesting people is invaluable to me.
